Call Glitch

Nicola’s awesome card was created with our CALL ME MAYBE stamp set and GLITCH NUMBERS stencil. [Tutorial] A small square approx 2×2 inches was masked off in the centre of a piece of white card. Distress oxide ink in ‘lost shadow’ was gently blended around the edge of the mask. Distress oxides ‘hickory smoke’ and ‘wilted violet’ were then very lightly blended through the brilliantly versatile GLITCH NUMBERS STENCIL. The stencil was removed and a light misting of water was used to kind of blur the edges of the numbers. The mask was removed and background left to dry. The telephone image from CALL ME MAYBE was stamped in black and clear embossed before being cut out. The sentiments were stamped on black card and embossed in white. I coloured the phone using zig clean colour brush pens in shades of pinky purple. Mat and layered on black and bright fuchsia mirri card before being stuck to a white card blank. The telephone was attached right in the centre using foam pads along with the sentiments. Finishing touches were pearl gems in shades of pink, purple and grey, violet stickles in the centre of the telephone and a good coating of glossy accents over the body and receiver of the phone to give that amazing glossy shine.
