Create With Your Soul | Mixed Media Card

Hi there! We are so excited to welcome Martha Ponsanesi to the blog today, with her debut post as a Guest Designer! Martha has created a really gorgeous mixed media card featuring lots of our stamps…

create with your soul | sentiment stamp

This is my first post as a Guest Designer in the fantastic Visible Image DT.

It’s really an amazing experience to be able to create with their stamps and stencils and be part of this DT full of talented girls, thanks to Helen and Mark for this opportunity.

visible image | rubber stamps

I created a card using this stamp that I love, with the silhouette of a female face. Initially I thought of a simple background created with the ditress ink and a stencil, leaving her as a focal image, but having all the other stamps around I found that they were all perfect for mix and match, so I started to play with a few of them and stencils too, and now I’m happy with the result 🙂

Here is a video tutorial

Time for a New Chapter

Hello! Hope you had a fabulous weekend! We have lots of gorgeous inspiration here on the blog this week. Veerle Moreels is up first with a very clever art journal page, and a brilliant video tutorial…

When is it time to start a new chapter in your life? How long do you allow yourself or force yourself  to keep trying before starting a new one?  Not an easy question and it’s one that will differ for each of us. The only right answer is: as long as necessary to be able to look back later and not feeling guilty for not having fought hard enough.

Closing… does that mean you have to forget about that chapter? Sometimes that is indeed what you need to do, to be able to move on and have a happy life. But don’t forget that chapter is part of the story that brought you to the place you are right now and made you as strong as you are now. So maybe, sometimes it’s just better to put it behind glass as a reminder of how strong you have become.

Enjoy the video…

Go With Your Dreams

Good Evening! We are back with more gorgeous inspiration for you today. Veerle Moreels has a brilliant video tutorial showing how she created her latest card, featuring our beautiful dragonfly stamp…

A while ago I was tidying stuff up and there they were: my twinkling H2O’s.  So I decided to keep them on my table and create with them again.

It wasn’t hard to choose some stamps for this project, as the soft twinkle and the colors I have here immediately bring me to the beautiful dragonfly From Visible Image. I did however decide to use another set of words for today’s project instead of the words that are in the ‘Live in the moment’ set…

I had my camera rolling again so have fun!

Inspiring Sentiment Stamps

Hi there! Veerle Moreels is up next on the blog today, with a beautiful tag featuring our NEW ‘Butterfly Ink’ stencil and one of the inspiring sentiment stamps from our NEW ‘Stronger Than You Think’ set…

Sometimes I start thinking and looking at the world around us. And to many times I notice all the demands we need to fulfill. It all needs to go faster, it needs to be better.  And strangely enough we feel the need we have to meet up with them. We can’t stay behind, we have to meet to the high standards others set for us. And without knowing we let them take away beautiful parts of us, parts that make us US.

With this in mind I had a play with one of the beautiful new released words and stencils. Very easy, and CAS but I had the camera running anyway.

Don’t let anyone take away your color. Smile your beautiful smile…

She Took A Deep Breath..

Good Evening! We are back with more awesome inspiration and a new video tutorial from the wonderful Veerle Moreels…

The organic stamp from Visible Image was calling for a long time to be inked up. And I knew what I wanted to do with it… and I still have to because my project turned out to be something completely different than what I wanted to do initially ^.^

There were some bumps in the road, amongst being knock out for a couple of days in between, but I’ve managed to get the project finished. I had my camera on while creating so there is a new video for you today. Have fun!

I still want to go and make that first idea, and while making this project I got another idea for this stamp so… you’ll see it come by another time without a doubt ^.^

Curious Seahorse

Hello and Happy Saturday to you! We have loads of inspiration coming your way here on the blog today!

First up today is Josefine Fouarge with her first of 2 stunning projects..

Welcome back! You know me, I love trying new things and am usually rather relaxed about the outcome. This art journal page definitely went through a try and error process before it ended up looking better. In today’s video I’m sharing my journey with this page. The title actually fits really well, because if you never stop being curious, you will create amazing art.

This journal page is using some of the new Visible Image stamps. One of them is the “Create your own Calm” sea horse, which needed to be a focal point. I combined it with the Fibres stencil, also from Visible Image, and a few shades of blue paint. Here is the process video and my story for this art journal page.

As I said in the video, I nearly didn’t share it. The page really had it’s bad moments. At the end, I’m glad I didn’t give up and continued. I hope this will help you to continue as well, if you ever have a page like this 🙂
