Faerie Stamp | Forest Stencil

Hello! We hope you’re keeping well. We are back from a little break and excited to share all the latest Design Team inspiration here on the blog! If you love all things magical you will adore today’s inspiration from Lynda Hall featuring our fabulous Faerie stamp and awesome Forest stencil…

I started this card by blending distress ink through one of the latest release stencils: The Forest . I then stamped the faerie from Faerie Magic over the top.

I re-stamped the image on another piece of card , coloured and cut out.

The wings were stamped and heat embossed on Vellum and adhered to the back.

I used Nuvo drops on some of the bubbles for added dimension, and mounted the fairy on the card with  3D glue gel.

To finish I added a sentiment from the Own It set and some white ink dot to add a snowy effect. Yes I know it’s still summer, but us card makers like to get ahead sometimes don’t we!

A Little Bit of Faerie Magic | Fairy Stamp

Good Morning! Lisa Taggart is bringing some magic to the blog today with a stunning project featuring our gorgeous fairy stamp..

Hello my friends, today I have some Faerie Magic for you Visible Image style! And what a versatile and magical set it is!

There are so many gorgeous elements to this fairy stamp set, I felt it could totally be used as a stand alone set.

To create the background no magical scene would be complete without a bit of sparkle. I combined some spectrum noir sparkle ink with an aqua and white mica spray on to white stamping card.

I stamped the fairy stamp and some of the elements on top of the background. Then on to a similarly inked piece of scrap I stamped the faerie, wings and circles for cutting and layering on top.

Once the elements were cut out and paper pieced on top I added the colouring finishing touches using watercolour and paint pens. I used a white gel pen to create highlights and a little watered down white gesso around the circle orbs to create the impression of light. Using the craft knife I inserted a couple of slots either side of the main image to glue in the wings and then stamped the sentiment.

The art work was mounted and a few glitter highlights added.

The close ups:

I hope you like it!

Lisa this is stunning! The depth of colour and the sparkle are incredible! Perfect for our faerie! Thank you ♡

We hope you love her as much as we do!

Colour her with your pens or pencils.. or stamp her in black onto an inky background.. stamp her wings on velum or acetate, fussy cut and layer them up. The wings are separate stamps, so she can transform into a mythical Queen or powerful enchantress.. and you can use the wings on their own with your other stamps too! The creative possibilities are endless…
