Hello! We hope you are staying safe and well. Today’s inspiration from Ericka Strange features our wonderful Guardian Angel stamp…
Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all having a good week so far. Today I’m playing with the Visible Image Guardian Angel stamp for a mixed media card.
I love this beautiful image and today I decided to make my angel full of light. For the background, I started with Cerulean Blue Color Burst and spritzed it on my paper. Once it was dry I added the Visible Image Strobes Stencil and used gold spray to give it a light look.
I stamped the angel and the wings on a separate paper and heat embossed them in gold powder that I mixed with WOW Changers Glisten for added sparkle. After cutting the wings out, I attached them to the background with foam tape.
I then cut the angel out, used a light blue watercolor marker on the robe, and added him with a double layer of foam tape for even more dimension.
I stamped the birds included in the set in a light blue and added them as well with foam tape. I used the included sentiment, which I love, to finish off my card.
Other supplies used:
Wow embossing powder changers
Wow embossing powder metal gold: rich pale
Wow embossing powder: curacao
Ken Oliver Color Burst: Fresh Florals
Kuretake ZIG clean color real brush pen
Strathmore Bristol Smooth card
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!
