Brighter Days Ahead | Chandelier Stamp
Hi there! Thanks for dropping by our blog today! Lorraine is here with a fantastic tutorial for a gorgeous card created with our HANG IN THERE stamp set and WORDS OF SUPPORT stencil.
Hello and welcome to my latest Visible Image DT post. I made this card for a lady who is going through a period of ill health and was feeling a bit low. The ‘Hang In There’ stamp set and ‘Words of Support’ stencil were the perfect pairing to create an uplifting card.

Tutorial
I decided on a bright, happy colour scheme and began by blending Distress Oxides in Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Carved Pumpkin onto a white panel.
Next, I used Barn Door ink and a small blending brush to stencil selected words onto the background.
For added texture, I stamped the circles and rays onto the background using Barn Door Distress Oxide and Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment ink.
To ensure that my sentiments were bold, I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiments using Versafine Clair Nocturne, stamping a couple of times. I repeated this procedure with the chandelier, this time adding clear embossing powder and heat setting.
To add a little interest to the inside of the card, I stamped the various circles in the same inks I’d used on the front panel.
After mounting the panel onto a black mat layer and attaching it to my card base, I added some gold rhinestone embellishments to each light bulb and around the sentiment.
I’m very happy with how this card turned out.
