Celebrate with Gin | Stamps + Dies

Hi there! We are really excited to welcome Shirley Bampton to our Design Team, and Shirley is here on the blog today sharing her first Visible Image inspiration! This fabulous celebration card was created with our KEEP YOUR GIN UP stamps and co-ordinating dies, our DRIZZLE stencil, and the ‘celebrate’ sentiment from our BIRTHDAY WISHES set.

Woohoo, I’ve joined the Visible Image Design Team!  So for my first make, what better card to make than a celebration card?

I started off by sponging the lower portion of my panel with Rusty Hinge Distress Ink, then stencilled some Vintage Photo through the Drizzle stencil (not just for cake!).

I stamped the gin bottle, glass and lime wedge from the Keep Your Gin Up stamp set, die cut them using the co-ordinating dies, and arranged them on my panel along with the Celebrate stamp from Birthday Wishes for placement.

I stamped ‘Celebrate’ in a nice bold black.

I added a splash of colour to the bottle and the two lime wedges.

Then it was a case of deciding which base card to go with – blue to pick out the colour in the bottle, or lime to pick out the, erm, limes.

I went with lime, because it’s a summery colour, and it’s supposed to be summer here!

I’ll be back in a couple of weeks with another Visible Image creation.  Meanwhile, happy stamping!

Such a fabulous celebration card and a brilliant tutorial! Thanks Shirley and welcome to team VI ♡
