Bring on The Beers | Tags

Hi there! We hope you had a good weekend. Jane is here on the blog today with some brilliant handmade tags featuring our beer themed stamps from our BRING ON THE BEERS set…

Today I am delighted to share more inspiration from the awesome new stamp release.

For this make I used the brilliant Bring on the Beers stamp set

bring on the beers | stamp set | glass | bottles | clear rubber

I made 2 tags to show both the fun sentiments in this set.

This is what I got up to..

I die cut 2 tags from my stash of distress reinker shaving foam marbled card. I make batches of these as they are so useful.

I always make extra elements for future projects so I stamped the glass onto a brown mix of distress inky mop up card. To keep the glasses flat as they dried, I pinned them down on my magnetic board and then poured on glossy accents. I avoided the “head”.  Normally you want to avoid bubbles but for the glasses bubbles and drips look very cool.

Here is one dry..

I then stamped the beer head onto white card and adhered some clear rock candy glitter.

I cut it out and glued it in place.

The “iced” beer bottles were a happy accident. I stamped them using black archival ink onto a sheet of Tim Holtz kraft green metallic card, which I had forgotten to brush over with my anti static bag. When I added clear embossing powder the extra powder stuck. When heat embossed though they had a fab “iced”effect.

I stamped some labels on white card and the foil and cap part onto gold card.  I cut everything out and put them together. Sorry about the blurry photo but these are taken in my studio during the late afternoon/evening when I was busy making my samples. You can see the details in my final photos. I also stamped some bottle caps onto gold card.

I stamped the bubbles onto the tags, adding some white gel pen accents and distressed the edges with vintage photo distress ink and a distressing tool.

I then stamped the sentiments at the top of each tag.

I then assembled my tags.

Here they are finished…

This is such a fun set and there are endless design possibilities with the stamps. They are also brilliant for male birthday cards.
