Christmas Tree Stamp | Handmade Tags
Hello! We have Ali here on the blog today with more wonderful Christmas inspiration! Ali has made some stunning Christmas tags with our O’ CHRISTMAS TREE stamp and the Merry Christmas sentiment from our SENTIMENTAL CHRISTMAS stamp set [a must have set!]
Wow.. it’s the last day of September, 2021 is flying!
My tutorial this week is how to make these iridescent Christmas tags using one of the gorgeous Visible Image Christmas tree stamps.
Tutorial
Cut an equal amount of approx. 11cm diameter circles from white and black card.
Wipe over the black circles with an anti static pad.
Stamp the Visible Image O Christmas Tree in the centre of the black circles using versamark and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
Stamp the stars and circles with versafine and gold heat emboss as before.
Spritz your Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent Chic and Frosted watercolour palette with a little water and paint your tags.
When the paint has dried, use pva glue to attach a white circle to the back of each of your painted circles.
Pick one of the Christmas sentiments from the Visible Image Sentimental Christmas stamp set and stamp with versafine ink.
I’ve used Fantasia, a dark purple ink.
You can clear heat emboss this or leave it to dry for a few minutes.
Pick up a little gold gilding wax on your finger and pat off the excess onto the lid. Apply the wax around the edge of your stamped circles.
Leave for 5 minutes or so to dry then buff the gold with a paper towel to make it super shiny.
Use a screw punch or cropodile to punch a hole in the top of each tag.
Cut some pieces of black and gold ribbon and tie them onto each tag with a double knot.
Admire your finished tags, these would cost a fair bit in the shops!

- Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent Watercolour Palette – Frosted and Chic CSIWPSET9
- Pebeo Gilding Wax – Empire Gold
- Wow Bright Gold Embossing Powder
- Versamark ink pad
- Versafine Clair Fantasia ink pad
- PVA glue
- Paint brush
- Heat gun
- Water Spritzer
- White stamping card (300gsm), Black card for matting & layering
- Ribbon – gold & black
- Screw Punch, Cropodile or hole punch
