Butterfly Effect Stamps | Handmade Bookmark
Hello! It’s almost the weekend! Yay! We hope you have some good things planned. Ericka is here on the blog today with a gorgeous handmade bookmark created with our stunning BUTTERFLY EFFECT stamps…
Happy Friday! I hope you are all doing well. Summer is in full swing at my house which means some time to relax and hopefully read a couple of books. What better way to keep track of my page than to create a bright and pretty bookmark with the Visible Image ‘Butterfly Effect’ stamp set.

To start making my bookmark, I took out a leftover background I had made using Distress Oxides in Kitsch Flamingo and Savage Patina and a brayer. I then added the smaller images from the Butterfly Effect stamp set in the same colours of Distress Inks. I then added some WOW! Embossing clear powder to add a little dimension.

I stamped the butterflies on Bristol Smooth paper and heat embossed in WOW! Embossing Carnival which is a pretty dark blue with sparkle. I then used my Zig watercolor pens to watercolour them. Once my images were dry, I cut them out and added to my tag.

I added the sentiment from the set and added a big pink ribbon I had in my stash.
