Autumn Leaves Canvas

Hello, we hope you are keeping safe and staying well. Autumn is in full swing here in the UK so it’s perfect timing for Jane to share a wonderful canvas created with our AUTUMN LEAVES stencil with stamps from our co-ordinating ERIKA’S MAPLE set…

Good Evening

It’s time for my fortnightly design team post for Visible Image.

Autumn continues to inspire me with all her glorious colours.

For today’s make I used the awesome Autumn Leaves stencil

leaf stencil | maple | falling | blowing

maple leaf stamps | autumn | leaf

To make a canvas/wall hanging.

This is what I got up to;

I sprinkled PaperArtsy Emerald Isle infusions onto mixed media card and added water. I dried with my heat gun and applied crackle texture paste through the stencil.

While still wet I added distress embossing glazes tapping off the excess.

I left this to dry overnight and then heated from below to melt the glazes.

Just look at all this yummy texture and glaze..it reminds me of pottery mosaics.

I then blended distress inks around the leaves to add colour.

I stamped some of the small leaves onto book pages and cut them out. I  also stamped and white embossed the sentiment onto black card. To finish off I distressed the edge of the cardstock for extra texture.

Here is my finished wall hanging

Thanks so much for stopping by today,

Bye for now,

Jane x

This looks absolutely stunning Jane! The crackled texture is wonderful, especially with the glaze. We are loving the leaves stamped onto the book pages in contrast, fabulous! Thank you  ♡
