Hello! We are back with more gorgeous inspiration for you this afternoon. Stempelfrida has created a fabulous card with our ‘Daisy Stencil’ and a really positive sentiment…

But this card is not only inspired by my garden. I remembered my Kindergarten days. From time to time we worked with stencils and used a toothbrush to sprinkle the watercolour through a sieve. I wanted to try this technique again.
But first I applied the paint in the middle of the flower with a brush through the stencil. In the middle I used a yellow tone and blended it with orange towards the outside.
Then the spraying technique was used. My water colours are water crayons from Lyra. For this step I covered the middle of the flower with a circle.
I stamped the wonderful sentiment from Visible Image with Distress Oxides. To underline the happy playful look a bit more I cut the stitched wavelines on the edges.
