It’s OK To Not Be OK

Good Evening, we hope you are staying well during this really difficult and worrying time. We have Lynda Hall here on the blog today with a gorgeous card featuring a sentiment we can all relate to right now…

It’s my day to share some Visible Image inspiration, and I think that in these challenging times that we are facing global wide right now, that the sentiment on this card is a good reminder to us all to take care of ourselves. I don’t think that there is a person out there who isn’t having the odd emotional wobble, I know I certainly have had a few. Fortunately for me I have a hobby and a room full of craft supplies that I can totally immerse myself in, which helps me leave my troubles behind for a while. It’s a huge help and sanity saver as I am sure all of you reading this will also understand.

This was super simple to create as you will see. Here is how I did it:

I placed the Scribble stencil on some black card and sprayed distress oxide inks through it. This stencil is very cool, and it instantly reminded me of how my brain can feel totally scrambled at times so was the perfect background to this card.

Once dry I sprayed over it again with a glitter enamel to add some sparkle.

I repeated these steps on a second piece of card, and using a circle die cut the centre from one to overlay on the base.

I finished by stamping and embossing the sentiment from the Look Forward With Hope set , and the hand from Tree of Life set (both currently reduced on the website so go grab a bargain!), and mat and layered them onto the base.

I hope that you are all managing to find some creative time at the moment. There is an uplifting challenge running over on the Visible Image Facebook group, so why not pop over and check it out and join in if you can .

I’ll be back soon with more inspiration, but in the mean time stay safe and well and please take good care of yourselves.
