Break Free Stamp Set | Daisy

Hi there, thanks for visiting us here on the blog today. Ericka Strange is here to inspire you today with a super stunning card featuring stamps from our ‘Break Free’ stamp set…

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy and sane. Today I’m playing with this Break Free Stamp Set from Visible Image which mirrors my sentiment as we start our 3rd week of social distancing and in close quarters with my wonderful family.

I love this stamp set and the great images and had a fun time coloring and embossing it.

I started by stamping my image in InkOn 3 Fade Out ink to do some no-line watercoloring with my Zig Real Brush Markers. I then added colored pencils to the image for additional shading.

I wanted to add a little more to the image, so I used Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide and lightly blended it around the flower. I then took the Strobes stencil and used Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide to color in the rest of the card.

I added some embossing details on the broken glass using Emerald Creek Fractured Ice Embossing Powder by painting on WOW Embossing Ink on my image. I love the glass look this powder gives the image.

Once I was done embossing, I added the sentiment on vellum and then did additional embossing on the vellum to continue the shattered glass look.
