I Am Strong | Mindfulness Stamps

The card should simply show the strength and therefore it is rather simple, but striking in its design. I can imagine thousands of meanings for it and stories behind it and hope that you will also find yourself here.

How I made this card:

My main character is made from a dark piece of cardstock, which had some structure. After treatment with Gesso I achieved this special look.

I stamped the person onto it with Ink on 3 and fussy cut it. Again, my Distress Oxides were used for staining the edges.

The background of my card is a beige cardstock, which I treated with some Gesso. I used the stencil “Stars & Stripes” to create the stripes with Distress Oxides. I also dyed the edges of it with Distress Oxides. I coloured the outerlines in black with a pen. The text was made the same way.

For the splashes I took some ink from the Distress inks with a brush, added water and sprinkled it over the card.
