Altered Book Cover | Learn To Fly Again
Good Morning! We have giogiocraft here on the blog today with an inspiring project featuring stamps from one of our older (but still fabulous) sets, which has the beautiful sentiment ‘take your broken wings and learn to fly again’…

I have a big news: I am happy to announce I am part of the Visible Image Design Team, their stamps and stencils are so inspiring! And today I use a couple of them to embellish a book cover (I altered dozens of them until now, I confess)
And I had some fun making a couple of pendant out of acetate and wire
The focal point with the sentiment:
Tutorial:
I stamped on cardstock the sentiment and cut it out. Then I sponged through Strobes stencil with yellow Distress Oxide.
I glued the cardstock to a piece of wire and filled with Glossy Accents.
In the meantime I glued a book page to the book cover and then I sponged it with Distress Oxide through
Distorted Chess and Time Tunnel stencils.
I stamped more details from the
Learn To Fly Again set. I glued the focal point and I attached the handmade embellishments to the spine.
