Hello, I’m Giovanna Zara, a crafter, blogger and designer from Sardinia, Italy. I started as a scrapbooker more than 10 years ago, and then I fell in love with MixedMedia: painting, mixing colours, materials and styles. I love to make Altered Art, Stamping, Art Journaling and I like to use recycled materials in my projects. When I was given a sewing machine, fabric and sewing become a new world to discover. My style is definitely super colourful, but sometimes I stumble on Steampunk and vintage-shabby, can’t help!

I have been crafting for about 19 years now with scrapbooking, handmade cards, mixed media and altered art projects being my favorite things to create, although I have done and love all things crafty. I would say my style would best be described as eclectic with a mixed media twist. Almost all my craft projects have some kind of mist or paint on them. I love getting messy and trying new techniques. Inspiring others is something I love to do by creating videos and sharing how I create my projects.

My name´s Karolina Bukowska. I come from Poland. I’ve worked as a teacher and sociotherapist, now working online courses and workshops, technique: scrapbooking, mixed media. Mixed media world is an unseparable part of my life and it’s my life passion. I love scrapbooking. It helps me to capture moments of my family life and to spend day creatively. Every day I create, meet, learn and it creates my reality. I cannot define my style. I love texture, colors and shine. I think, my style is a little vintage and messy, romantic and a little shabby. I love to have my fingers dirty from paints, mists and pigments. I like mixing products to get an interesting effect.

Hi, I’m Karen and I have been creatively crafting ever since I can remember. I currently teach adult workshops in Guildford where we have a great time making cards, tags, and journal pages using paints, inks, stamps, stencils and more. I have lived and worked on three continents and I have an impressive stash of craft supplies carefully collected over the past 25 years. My name is Marzena, I am a Polish crafter known as Macarena. I am mom to a very handsome 20 year-old and a very furry british shorthair. I love to escape to the seaside as often as I can and charge my batteries by nordic-walking along the beach and listening to the sea calming sounds. I love cats and birdsongs, chocolate, spanish language and all the shades of grey (color), lol. I have been crafting for over 8 years now and it seems a neverending story. Each day I learn new things, techniques, mixed media possibilities. I love to create textured and layered projects mixing different medias and techniques. I am stempelfrida from Germany. Once there was a time when I said that I would not want to use stamps, because you are so limited with a stamp….. that was more than a decade ago and I still have to smile when remembering that thought from where I am today! My passion for paper brought me to places where I found myself surrounded by stamps and I was tempted….. and fell in love head over heels with stamping. I mainly make cards and most of them are kind of clean – not in the classical CAS definition, but rather neat and crisp. Almost always, there is too much on my cards to qualify for them to be CAS, there is too little for them to be the classically mixed media art and they are too neat to be called altered or grunge. For sure I love flashy colours, which is funny since I started really earthy in tones, but then had kind of a colour revolution. So I guess my cards are clean, neat, crisp and flashy …. mostly! And you can be sure that stempelfrida will surprise you once in a while. Who knows, what Visible Image will bring me on to?

Hello, I’m Martha from Italy, 47 years old (really?!…Time flies) I live near Rome with my partner and a bunch of cats. I love colors, stamps, stencils, dies and everything connected with mixed media, art journaling, cardmaking. Sharing this passion with posts, tutorials, taking classes and sometimes giving classes is always a pleasure and a chance to spread the love of being crafty. Hi, I’m Lynda and I live in Hampshire in the UK with my husband, 2 teenage daughters and 3 dogs. I run my own childcare business from home, which keeps me very busy, so crafting at weekends is my way of winding down after a hectic but fun week. I discovered the wonderful world of paper craft around twelve years ago, when I wanted to make a personalised card for a child I cared for. I remember feeling overwhelmed by all the various inks, stamps and other products in the shop I visited for supplies and thinking I’d never get the hang of what to do. Nowadays I think I probably have more supplies in my craft room than they stock on their shelves! I was soon hooked on card making and learned fast about all the different products. Over time, being inspired by online craft groups, I began to dabble in other mixed media projects, art journalling and scrapbooking too. I’ll have a go at anything and love learning new techniques. I have been a fan of Visible Image for a very long time so the opportunity to create and offer some inspiration as part of the team is very exciting!

Hey there, I’m Ericka, aka Strangely Creative, and I’m so excited to be a Guest Design Team member for Visible Image! I live just outside of Houston, TX USA with my husband, two active girls ages 9 & 5, and two Frisbee loving Border Collies. I’ve always loved crafting and making things. I’ve been making cards for almost 4 years and love working with a variety of mediums, and getting inky to creating colorful backgrounds and cards. It has been so fun being part of such an encouraging and kind crafting community and I look forward to inspiring others. When I’m not in my craft room, I’m usually outside in the vegetable garden.

I am a wife and mom living in Southeastern Michigan. I’m a self taught Mixed Media Artist. I love color and texture. I usually work small, on ATCs, small journal pages and canvases.
