Good Evening, thanks for visiting our blog today.
When we lose a loved one, Christmas can be a very difficult time and it can be hard to know whether to send a traditional Christmas card, and ‘Merry Christmas’ just isn’t really appropriate. So Helen wrote a special sentiment for those ‘hard to write’ Christmas cards.
We have some beautiful inspiration for you from Jane Tyrrell today featuring this Christmas sentiment stamp…
Today I am focusing on the gorgeous new Christmas stamp release and designing with 2 sets;
My design also uses the Strobes stencil (these are all back in stock in the shop). I think it makes a great sun/star burst and used it in the background of my card…
So this is what I made…
I gold embossed the angel word and added some gold to the border.

I blended distress inks through the stencil. I wanted the angel to be more of a shadow and I achieved this by using a gold metallic ink. The sentiment is stamped and embossed.
Here she is in close up, in real life she has a shimmery gold effect…

Bye for now,
This is such a stunning card, thank you Jane ♡
The sentiment, Angel and strobes all work so beautifully together.
You will find more of Jane’s inspiring cards and projects, and some really beautiful photos over on her blog.
