Just Be Happy

Good Evening! (or is it morning or afternoon where you are?!)

I have been ‘playing’ again and this time I was in a pink mood!
I also wanted to see if I could create something using only one colour (and of course black and white).

Picked Raspberry is probably my favourite colour of distress ink!

I only distressed parts of my card, making sure I left some white space,
and then flicked a little water at it and dried off.

Next I took one of my favourite background stamps ever…
the ripped fishnet from our Mesh-ellaneous set.

I inked up parts of it and stamped it randomly without putting it on a block,
this gives a much more worn look.

I also added some more fishnet stamping in black, and then stamped another of my favourite stamps
(in black also) leaving space for my sentiment and focal image.

I chose one of the quote stamps from our Tomorrow Doesn’t Exist set (which will be back in stock this week!)

and the awesome inky butterfly from our Own Kind of Beautiful set.

Lastly, I flicked some diluted black acrylic paint here and there, especially around the butterfly as if it was spraying off it!

My finished card..
