Wall Flower

Kimberly’s amazing card was created with our SKETCHED TULIPS and TRANSMISSION GLITCH stamp sets, and DISTRESSED BRICK stencil. [Tutorial] Kimberly stamped the large tulip in black ink then embossed the gorgeous script stamp in white behind the flower head. Colours were then added to the background using ‘salvaged patina’ and ‘broken china’ distress inks, and once dry Kimberly painted the flower with ‘dried marigold’ and ‘shabby shutters’ distress inks, and added more depth and atmosphere with ‘vintage photo’ distress oxide ink. Some background stamping was then added using our ‘transmission glitch’ stamps, and to add some wonderful texture, Kimberly used white distress grit paste through the brick stencil. To finish, the sentiment was stamped, coloured and cut out, and raised off the card for dimension.
