Spring Awakening

Rachel’s gorgeous spring card was created with our fabulous SPRING AWAKENING stamp set. [Tutorial] To begin with I dipped a white piece of card into ‘Spiced Marmalade’, ‘Mustard Seed’, ‘Candied Apple’ and ‘Fossilized Amber’ distress ink. When dried I blended ‘Candied Apple’ distress ink around the edges of the card. I then stamped the words from the ‘Spring Awakening’ stamp set using Versafine Clair ‘Tulip Red’ ink onto the background. This was followed by the main flower image which was stamped in Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before being heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. The smaller flower heads and dots were then stamped onto the background using Versamark and heat embossed with Wow metallic gold rich superfine embossing powder. The sentiment was then stamped onto some black card using Versamark before being heat embossed with Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder and fussy cut out. Finally, the background was then added to black card and a white card blank and the sentiment added using 3D mounts. Rachel ♡
