Santa Tag

Nicola’s fantastic tag was created with our VINTAGE SANTA stamp set and co-ordinating dies, and our POINSETTIA GRUNGE stamp. [Tutorial] I used a ready made tag and used distress oxide inks and distress mica sprays to create a dark purple background. When dry I gold embossed the small poinsettia from the POINSETTIA GRUNGE stamp set a few times in various positions. The ‘Seasons Greetings’sentiment from the VINTAGE SANTA stamp set was also stamped in the background using dark purple ink and then clear embossed. I then sprinkled embossing enamel and heated from below the tag to create a snow like effect. The sentiment was stamped and embossed in white on black card. The large Santa from VINTAGE SANTA stamp set was stamped and embossed in deep purple and then die cut using the co-ordinating die. Santa was coloured using zig clean colour brush pens and gold watercolours. The trim on Santa’s hat was embossed using chunky white embossing powder. The tag was then assembled and finishing touches to Santa’s hat and beard were added using purple stickles. Nicola ♡
