Dorothy Gale

Rachel made her amazing card with our OZ DOROTHY stamp set and co-ordinating dies, and our TIME TUNNEL and SUPERNOVA stencils. [Tutorial] For the background I sprayed a piece of white card with ‘Salvaged Patina’ distress spray stain. I then placed the ‘Time Tunnel’ over the top of the card and blended ‘Stormy Sky’ distress ink through it. After drying with a heat gun I then added the ‘Supernova’ stencil over the top and smoothed Distress opaque grit paste through it. When this was dry I edged the card with some more ‘Stormy Sky’ distress ink. Next up, the Oz images were stamped onto a separate piece of card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. These were then die cut out and coloured with Zig color clean brushes. A bit of sparkle was added to the ruby slippers and Dorothy’s dress using a Wink of Stella brush. The sentiment was then stamped onto some black card with Versamark and heat embossed with Wow opaque bright white superfine embossing powder and fussy cut out. Finally, the background was put onto black card and a white card blank before the elements were added with 3D mounts or acrylic glue. A few gems were also added for further sparkly interest. Rachel ♡
