Jazz Vibes

Rachel’s awesome card was created with our ECHOES stencil and JAZZ IT UP stamp set. [Tutorial] For the background I dipped a white piece of card into ‘Kitsch Flamingo’, ‘Squeezed Lemonade’ and ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress spray stain that had also been spritzed with water. Once dried, I placed the ‘Echoes’ stencil over the top and blended the same colours in distress oxides through it in random areas. The same colour of distress inks were then used to edge the card. Next up, the musicians from the ‘Jazz it Up’ stamp set were stamped onto the background using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. The whole background was then covered with distress micro glaze to really bring out the colours of the oxides. The sentiment was then stamped using the same black ink onto white card and heat embossed the same way before adding the circles from the ‘Jazz it Up’ set in Versafine Clair ‘Morning Mist’ (2nd generation). This was then mounted onto a small piece of black card. Finally, the background was put onto black card and a white card blank and the sentiment was added using 3D mounts. Some sparkly gems were added for a bit of glam. Rachel ♡
