Celebrate
Rachel’s fabulous card was created with our FLOWER POWER background stamps with the ‘celebrate’ sentiment from our BIRTHDAY WISHES set.
[Tutorial] The ‘Flower Power’ and ‘Birthday Wishes’ stamp sets are a perfect match for those summer celebratory cards.
To begin with I sprayed a piece of white card with ‘Shaded Lilac’ and ‘Picked Raspberry’ distress spray stain. Once dried, I went around the edges of the card with ‘Picked Raspberry’ distress ink. Next up, the main ‘Flower Power’ background image was stamped onto the background with Versamark 4 times and heat embossed with Wow opaque bright white superfine embossing powder. Each of the flowers were then coloured in with a variety of purple, silver and white gel pens.
On a separate piece of light purple card the sentiment from the ‘Birthday Wishes’ set was stamped using Versafine Clair ‘Charming Pink’ ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss superfine embossing powder. This was then wrapped around the card before the full background was added to some black card and some further light purple card.
Finally, some of the small individual flower stamps were stamped onto white card using Versamark and Wow opaque bright white superfine embossing powder. These were fussy cut out before being coloured in with the same gel pens and stuck onto the card using acrylic glue. Rachel ♡
