A Happy Life

Gill’s stunning card was made with a beautiful sentiment stamp from our HAPPINESS MATTERS set, the yoga image from our MINDFUL MOMENTS set, with background stamping and texture created with our CHAIN REACTION stamps and BREAKOUT stencil. [Tutorial] I started this card by blending a circle of ‘Pickled Raspberry’ distress ink in the centre of my card, then blended into blue using ‘Broken China’ distress ink. Once my whole card was coloured, I stamped the pebbles stamp from the ‘Chain Reaction’ backgrounds stamp set using ‘Mermaid Lagoon’ distress ink to make a border around my card. Once that was dry, I mixed some gold starlight paint with gel texture paste and spread this through the fabulous ‘Breakout’ stencil. While this was drying, I stamped the yoga image from the ‘Mindful Moments’ set, cut it out and painted it with the same rich gold paint. Next I stamped and embossed the beautiful ‘build a life’ sentiment from the ‘Happiness Matters’ stamp set, cut it out and edged with the same pink ink and matted onto black card. I used foam tape to affix the sentiment and placed the yoga image in the centre of my card, positioning her to sit on top the the sentiment. To finish, I edged the card with gold gilding wax, then matted on to black card and then a white card blank. Gill ♡
